A little bit about me

  • 4 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 228027
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi I'm JD!! I'm good looking , energetic and lots of fun!! I love my zoomies so would like a nice big yard to do them in. I'm social with other dogs, so if you have a well mannered pooch at home, we could be friends!! I love playing fetch with balls or toys, but is it still fetch if I don't bring them back? I need someone adventurous to keep up with me, hike anyone? If you are looking for a new bestie, pick me!! Pop in an application now :)

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
