Meet meHi there, I'm Minus.
I might be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I promise I'm all heart. I'm a gentle soul who loves a soft pat and quiet company. Sudden movements or loud noises can make me a bit nervous, so I'm hoping to find a calm home with someone who understands that I need a little time to feel safe.
When you go slow and give me space, I'll start to show you my true self-affectionate, loyal, and oh-so-grateful. I'm not the type to jump into your lap on day one, but if you're patient, I'll become your quiet shadow, always nearby and happy just to be close.
I'd do best in a peaceful environment, maybe with someone who has experience with timid cats or who's just naturally gentle and kind. If you think we might be a good match, I'd love to meet you. I've got a lot of love to give-I just need the right person to help me feel safe enough to share it.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
