Meet Tigger!
Tigger is a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe - but once you're in her circle, you're in. This lovely girl takes her time getting to know and trust her humans, but when she's comfortable, she transforms into an absolute cuddle bug.
She likes having her own space and cozy hiding spots where she can relax and watch the world go by. By night, though, Tigger becomes an inquisitive explorer, quietly wandering the house on her little adventures.
Tigger will need to stay on a special diet to keep her healthy; but that doesn't stop treats from being the way to her heart. Once settled, she's quite the talker too - expect sweet little chats and opinions shared throughout the day.
Tigger would love a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and blossom into the affectionate, vocal companion she truly is. If you believe the best relationships are worth the wait, Tigger might be your perfect match.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
