I love getting lots of cuddles and kisses, and I will give them back if I really like you. I'm very photogenic as you tell tell by my gorgeous photos, so if you want to be a world famous photographer, I might be your ticket in. I need to be the only pet in the home as I don't like to share the limelight, but I'd probably let you get away with keeping a goldfish. I'm looking for a calm and quiet home where I can live out my senior years in peace, surrounded by good food, good memories, and good company. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
