Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 3 years old
  • Female
  • Tabby
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $50

Hello, my name is Dita. I am a very sweet but nervous little cat. I am quite timid with new people & places & may take time to settle in a new home. Recently I have discovered that pats can be quite a good thing & although I may lean in & purr I keep myself in a tight, tense little bundle or wedged into the side of my bed space. I am also on alert for danger.

I would love to find a quiet home with a patient, gentle owner who can help me to relax & trust no matter how long it takes. Due to my nervous nature I will always need to love as an indoor cat - the great outdoors will be too scarey & overwhelming for me.

If you think you can love & adore me & help me to feel safe please make an appointment to meet me.

The Adoption Process

We have moved to adoption by appointment only due to impending COVID-19 restrictions. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs that are listed as application only are not available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
