Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 4 years old
  • Female
  • White Black
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $50

Hello, my name is Isa. I am a timid little cat & when I first arrived at the shelter I was so worried that I just ignored everyone & hoped they would go away. However, with lots of extra help & attention on our TLC program I am now showing my sweet nature & beginning to enjoy pats.

As a timid cat I will find a new owner & home quite overwhelming at first so will need a quite environment with someone who is willing to go slowly me and let me respond in my own time. Please don't rush me. I can be encouraged with some little pieces of cooked chicken but at first, may not eat it until I am alone.

Being a nervous girl I will always need to live indoors only. Are you the special someone who can offer me the love & support I need to truly blossom?

The Adoption Process

We have moved to adoption by appointment only due to impending COVID-19 restrictions. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs that are listed as application only are not available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
