Grey

Australian Cattledog - Stumpy Tail

Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 4 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 254549
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

My name is Grey! I am a loveable kid with long ears, a short tail and might be part rabbit. I do have a fearful side when it comes to new people so a quiet home would be ideal and a home with people that will not parade me around to all their friends and family which I know will be hard since I'm ridiculously good looking and unique. Some people only like very small circles of friends and will only allow certain individuals into that group..well that's me so young children and too many people will be too overwhelming for me so please consider this before you come down to meet me. I am a boy that likes to communicate in many different ways so training and lots of enrichment will be very beneficial for me mentally and physically so toys, chews, sandpits, water shells, food puzzles, quiet adventures will be the best way to tire me out and allow me to settle and be that couch potato you're looking for at the end of the day.Perhaps you might be the people for me?? Book an appointment and find out!!

See me in action!

The Adoption Process

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
