Wally

Australian Cattledog Kelpie

Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 3 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 255788
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Where's Wally?.....HERE I AM!! I've had a long journey here at AWL working on my fearful behaviors and learning to trust. It took me a bit of time but now I absolutely love my staff, I love to play with them I love to get all the cuddles and I love my walks with them. Due to the behaviours I have shown and am still working on with new people I can not go home with any young children or other dogs. You will need to be an exceptionally patient person, understand and recognise fearful behaviors and not put me into situations where I will feel scared or overwhelmed. I would like a relatively quiet house where there arent too many new people coming and going. If you think you have the perfect home for me then come on down and meet me.

Where can you find me?

I am at the Wingfield location.
1-19 Cormack Road, Wingfield SA 5013

You can contact me by

Phone: 8348 1300

This website updates regularly, so there is a chance that when you arrive this animal may already have been adopted by someone else.

Sorry, but we cannot put animals on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first.

The Adoption Process

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
