Meet meYou would think I've eaten too many Freddo frogs with the bouncy playful and over excited personality I have. I just can't help it though, I just love life! I love people, I love dogs..probably a little too much though as I get told off a fair bit by other dogs as I'm quite relentless with my play and can be pretty rude... Oh did I mention I loooovve to play!! Although it's hard to control my impulses and I do forget my manners I really do want to learn how to be calm and how to play appropriately with other dogs aswell as people so I don't get myself into anymore trouble. I have been returned a couple of times because of my over the top behaviour and play so I'm really hoping my next home understands I'm not perfect yet and I will need lots of positive training, I'll need lots of things to do to keep me occupied, I'lll need a home where I will get to follow you around whether you're inside or outside and a home where I will be absolutely adored upon because really everything I do good or "bad" it's all for you and your attention because...I already love you. Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.
Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
