Meet meWhy hello there humans. My name is Binky. I go by many names by my humans in the shelter but Binky Bink and Binky Boo are my faves. I'm looking for a loving home, where my new family can provide me with the training I need to help me grow and learn. I would benefit from being homed with a family who can cater to my needs and are willing to put the hard yards in so that we can all have a wonderful life together and I can be the best version of myself both for me and for you. Unfortunately I would be suited to a home with no animals or children. I have a very excitable nature, therefore I would love to be the only child, all the more cuddles and love for me. I would most definitely love to be both inside and outside where I can lounge about with you and relax but also playing our favourite games in the yard or helping you with the gardening. If you think you can provide me with the ongoing training and support and give me plenty of time to settle into your home with lots of love, book in to meet me and we can discuss details further as I show you the love I have to give!

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.
Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
