Meet meWell well well do you like what you see? You can see me right.. or am I CAMOUflaged? He he he..I'm a bit of a cheeky boy if you havent gathered that already. I am a very playful boy who just can't get enough of toys and just have so much fun ripping them up and then hunting down my next toy victim. If you have a fun and playful nature and know how to keep a very active dog like me enriched with all the things I love to do then I might "blend in" quite nicely into your life. Once I get to know you I am a very affectionate young man and will love following you around to help out with the house work or just to make sure you don't loose me amongst the autumn leaves. With my energy level and inexperience with life in general I thought it was best I go to a home with no young kids and no other animals. This doesn't mean that later on in the future when I have settled in and you have gotten to know my likes and dislikes I could possibly be ok with some of my own furry friends. Well I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we blend.

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.
Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
