A little bit about me

  • 3 years old
  • Female
  • Animal ID: 257353
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi my name's Shiloh! I'm a really shy girl and it will take me awhile to warm up to you, but once I trust you, I'll be your bestest friend in the whole world!! I will need a quieter home with no younger children, I'll be too scared by them! I'm a big girl but I really am a softie, although I do love to jump on you and play when I'm excited! You may need to come and visit me a couple of times before I am comfortable with you, but that will give you time to decide if you think I'm the one for you. Pop in an application today if you're willing to take a chance on a girl like me!

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
