Kelpie American Staffy

Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 1 year old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 257707
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hey there I'm the energetic Charlie ready to hit the world running and playing. Do you have the stamina and energy level to keep up with me? If you are familiar with my breed and know how to keep an active dog like me entertained and know how to wear me out mentally and physically then I might just be the dog for you! I am going to be way too much for young children so unfortunately while I am in training living with young kids just wont be an option and any meets will need supervision and on lead greetings would be better so I don't get too excited. The staff will be able to tell you a bit more about me before you meet me and about my history so you will know whether we will be compatible or not. Come on down and lets talk activities!

Where can you find me?

I am at the Wingfield location.
1-19 Cormack Road, Wingfield SA 5013

You can contact me by

This website updates regularly, so there is a chance that when you arrive this animal may already have been adopted by someone else.

Sorry, but we cannot put animals on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first.

The Adoption Process

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
