Meet meIm Mossy and I love to run, dance, bounce and have fun. My family in the shelter tell me I'm quite the bundle of energy. I love to give out hugs, and dont really understand the meaning of personal space but with the right training and guidance, I can most definitely learn to respect your bubble. I would benefit from daily exercise and enritchment and would be suitable for a family willing to provide my needs so I can thrive in your home. I would be suitable for a home with no children as my excitable nature can be overwhelming for the little ones. I can be a little shy around new people, by taking it slow with me we can create a lovely bond with one another. Im sassy, cheeky, fun, loving and a unique gal. So come down and say hi.

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.
Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
