Tenika

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Kelpie

Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 8 years old
  • Female
  • Animal ID: 257929
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $200

Well hey there I'm Tenika! I don't ask for much, just someone with a cool car because I looovvveeeee going for drives! The staff here drive me around the carpark to keep me entertained, but I'd rather long drives so I can go sight seeing! I can be a little nervous at first but I'll warm up once I get to know you a bit better. I'll be best suited to a calm home with adults only as I'd get a little nervous with children wanting to pat me all the time. I do love zoomies in the yard and snuggling up in bed so a home where I can freely go in and out would be great. If you are looking for a pawsenger to travel through life with, come meet me!

The Adoption Process

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
