Hey there hoooman!

My name's Checkers and I'm pretty pleased you popped by to meet me. As you can see I am incredibly handsome and my foster mum says I'm a little bit cheeky too... but she loves it!

Me and my brother Riddles have been looked after by the amazing peeps at AWL for a little while but now we live with our foster mum at her place with her cat and a couple of crazy beagles! Foster mum and her furmily have been teaching us how to get brave in this big wide world and we've learnt heaps in the last few weeks. Everyone thought Riddles was really shy before but now he is learning how to be big and brave just like me!

We love to play with toys - ping pong balls are our favourite and we can both play for hours up and down the house. We also love stuffed toys and we carry them around with us in our mouths and hide them from foster mum. We love to chatter to each other and chirp as we run and hide and play. We love to play chasey too and we're really interested in the doggos - they smell funny and snore like crazy until we wake them up (hahaha)! Our favourite though is when foster mum feeds us Dine mousse off her fingers - that stuff is amaaaaaazing! I even let her stroke me when she is feeding me it - I do quite like the stroking though - it makes my bum lift up which is really funny!

We are both ready to find our furever home now and we do definitely need to be together - somewhere that we can play and chirp and sit on the sofa and watch TV with you! But remember we might be a bit shy when we first go home with you but if you give us a bit of space and time and a safe area to hide out in I promise you your life will never boring!!!
