Hi I'm Moxie!
I'm a a very gentle, calm, quiet cat. As you can see from the video, the ball tower is the most rambunctious I get, haha! I'm not interested in many toys, in fact, wand toys put me off. I much prefer to have a good rub/brush/petting session and then just sit quietly beside you and purr. Such a cosy kitty!
It will take me a few months to really get comfortable with you and I really values my own space (which is the cubby hole in my cat tree). Whenever there's noise/activity, I'll retreat to my cubby hole, but as soon as I see everything has calmed down, I'll jump down for a good petting and scratching session.
My Ideal furrever home would be a quiet household with someone who's very patient and willing to spend the time I need to settle in. If you think you have the home for me pop in an application :)

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
