A little bit about me

Application only
  • 3 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 258277
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi I'm Freckles!! I'm a sweet, loving and active fellow that is searching for his special family. I really enjoy playing with rope and tug toys, but I need someone to hold the rope for me!! I would like a family that can keep me busy, I love company so a bigger family would be perfect for me. I would like a home with an open door policy, so I can split my time between snuggling on the couch and chasing butterflies in the yard. I'm a pretty clever boy if I may say so myself, so I'd be open to learning a few tricks if you can spare the time to help me learn. If you think I might be the one for you, fill out my application!

Lots of love Freckles

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
