Hi there. I'm Echo!

I'm a timid but sweet, loving boy looking for my forever family. I can be a little bit shy at first but I'm easily convinced with a few chin scratches and yummy food! My best friend Ryuk and I came into the shelter as a pair, and we really looooove to cuddle, he also helps me to feel safe. For this reason, we are looking for our forever home together!

We are looking for a relaxed home where we can sit by the window and watch the birds, but will be happy to snuggle up next to you as well. We don't ask for much, just a quiet place to sleep, some love and yummy food.

Take me home today, and let's start our next chapter together.

As a bonded pair, Echo and Ryuk are $80 for the pair ($40 each).

I am a bonded pair!

To pick me up you’re going have to pick up my buddy too.

The adoption fee is per animal.

The Adoption Process

Currently, appointments are not required if you wish to adopt a cat. If you wish to adopt a cat, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday. If you wish to adopt a dog, you must still book an appointment. Please note that the booking of an appointment does not mean the animal is on hold and we will endeavour to advise you if the animal is adopted prior to your appointment.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
