Domestic Short HairMeet me
A little bit about me
- 1 year old
- Animal ID: 258783
- Medium size
- Adoption Fee: $50
I'm Nyx - the black and white one and my sister is Amala the torti. We are a packaged deal and have been spending our time whilst at AWL learning all about the world!
Some of the highlights have been:
1.Treats are sooo yummy!
2.Scratching poles are so entertaining to climb on
3.Toys, especially straws and balls are super fun!
4.Pats - although we are just learning are pretty cool too!
We are a bonded pair looking for a committed family with older (teens) or no children that will continue teaching us about the world. Our ideal home will be indoor only, provide us with heaps of fun and exciting toys and opportunities and be incredibly loving and patient as we continue to build our confidence.
We are not for first time cat owners - we need someone who understands and is willing to work at our pace, as from time to time we forget what we've learned and need to start again.
We are both up for the challenge - are you? If you think you are the ying to our yang visit the Wingfield campus today and chat with the team!
Can't wait to meet you.
~Amala and Nyx

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
