Hi, I'm the lovely tuxedo boy called Eddie,

I have found the world to be a big scary place, but if you are willing to take it slow with me, and show me lots of love and patience, it won't take me long at all to relax and then you will start referring to me as 'Eddie the Cuddle Bug' :-)

I'm currently living my best life in foster, with a resident cat. We get along very well, and enjoy getting up to mischief together. Once I'm done with playing, I love nothing more than to cuddle up to my human and start my purr engine.

If you think you can offer me the purrfect home, please submit an application for me today.

Love, Ed xoxo

P.S. I'm currently in foster so you won't be able to come down to meet me.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
