Meet meHi I'm Jasper! I'm a big boy with a big personality! I will need an owner that doesn't mind a boisterous dog with a streak of cheekiness. It does take me a while to warm up to someone and relax, most people I just give the cold shoulder. I love lazing around in my paddle pool and playing with empty plastic bottles. I'm pretty strong on lead, I just get so excited when I get to go on my walkies!! I would like a home with no children please, I'm a bit too pushy. I don't know how I feel about cats yet. If you have an empty spot on the couch next to you that could fit me in it, pop in an application!!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
