Hi I'm Biggie. You know the saying a man's best friend is a dog? Well, they had me in mind when they came up with that. I'm the perfect soulmate. I just want kisses, cuddles and attention all day long. I'm looking for a calm and loving family who can help me be the bestest boy. I will need to be the only dog in the family, my manners need a little work. I do like to play with tennis balls, so a yard with room for us to play fetch would be great. If your looking for a new devoted bestie, come down and meet me!!

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
