A little bit about me

Application only
  • 1 year old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 259250
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi I'm Jimmy!! I'm a dog that likes to keep busy and see everything going on around me, I'd be perfect for a farm and have lived happily on one before! I will need an owner that can give me lots of time and attention as when I'm stressed or bored I can display some obsessive behaviours, like shadow chasing and air snapping. I don't cope well being confined in a backyard. I would benefit from being in an active home where I can come inside and be a part of the family. I would be a great dog to take on day trips and hikes, I love to explore everything! When I lived on a farm I had a tendency to chase the cats, so a home with no cats would help me keep out of trouble. If you think you have what it takes, pop in an application today!!

The Adoption Process

If you wish to adopt a cat or dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location any time between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location for Cat Adoptions ONLY any time between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs and cats that are listed as application are not always available for meet and greets. If your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
