Hi, the name's Tyson!

I'm a big, energetic, loveable boy looking for my furever family

There are a few things about me that you should know - first, I really love my walkies, my shelter carers say that I have wonderful lead manners and will walk right beside you when we go on adventures!

Next, I really love to be around all my people, and I get super excited when we get to do fun things, so my new family should be ready to give me lots of toys and enrichment to keep me busy. Plus, since I'm so smart, I'll be happy to learn some new tricks! My humans will need to give me lots of positive reinforcement and tell me I am the bestest boy so I will always remember my good manners.

Since I'm a big wiggly boy, I'd be best suited as the only young kid in your life, but some older human-siblings to play with could be super fun!

If you're looking for a fun, energetic, glass half-full kinda boy, then I'm the one for you!

Book in to meet me today

Love,

Tyson xx

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
