Hi I'm Billie,

Nice to meet you :)

I have once found this world very scary, but with no time and my sister violet next to me, I am learning how to get around this home life! I'm a super gentle and friendly girl, therefore, if you are very patient with me I will be your bestfriend.

I have a soft spot for pats and cuddles, especially if you get behind my ears. When given the chance, I'll be playing with whatever toy i can get my paws on.

I rely a lot of my sister Violet for confidence, she likes to take care of me and I wouldn't be able to navigate the world without her. Therefore, we are a bonded pair and she will have to come with me into the next chapter.

Please note, I am currently in my foster home so you wont be able to come down and meet me.

Violet and I hope to see you very soon!

Love, Billie xo

I am a bonded pair!

To pick me up you’re going have to pick up my buddy too.

The adoption fee is per animal.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
