Hey there, I'm Kylo!

I am a big smoochy, handsome boy in search of my furever family.

I really love my people, so my new family should be ready to take me on lots of adventures with them! I like my walkies, to play with toys and I also really love treats!

I really like to learn new things - my shelter carers say I am verrrry smart and already have great manners + know some tricks. My new family should be ready to spend time teaching me and giving me lots of positive reinforcement, so I can be the bestest boy I can be!

I do get really excited to spend time with my humans, and since I'm a big boy, my smoochies can get to be a lot, so I'd be best suited in a home without any young kids (but I'd be happy with some older human-siblings!)

Once our adventures are done, I'd really like to spend the rest of the day lounging around with you. I'll happily snuggle up on my bed but would also love to be close to you on the couch if you'll let me because I do really love to cuddle!

I am a sweet boy ready to give all my love to my family. I can't wait to meet you!

Kylo xx

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
