Hi there I'm Ava!! Looking for a fitness buddy?? That could be me if you can keep up! I'm an energetic girl that enjoys keeping active, I'd be perfect for agility training. It does take me a little bit of time to be completely comfortable with new people, but patience and yummy treats will help. I enjoy playing with my stuffed toys exploring new areas, a hiking partner would be great! If you would like the chance to take me home, pop in an application.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
