A little bit about me

  • Desexed
  • Medium size

Hey there, I'm Rodger!

Are you looking for a cute kitty who loves to hang out but can also do its own thing? Well, look no further because here I am. I can be a little shy at first, but I really love chin scratches and once I warm up I become quite the smooch! One thing you should know about me is that I get very worried when people pick me up, so if you're looking for a cat that likes to be picked up and held, I may not be the right cat for you.

Come down and meet me today - I know you'll instantly fall in love with my fun, playful and independent purrsonality.

Love Rodger xx

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
