Domestic Short Hair
Meet meIntroducing Mars and Fig, an adorable bonded pair of male cats eagerly seeking their fur-ever home. Mars delights in play sessions and cozy naps with his fur brother Fig. Mars also has a shy side and will often be found hiding under blankets. At the shelter the staff have slowly built trust with him by using his favorite cat treat Churu and have received gentle affectionate head rubs back.
Now, let's turn our attention to Fig, a wonderfully affectionate boy who has mastered the art of making biscuits to show his contentment. Fig's favorite activities include receiving gentle scratches and showering his human carers with affectionate rubs against their legs. Fig has shown at times that if you shower him with pats, it can lead to a sensory overload, so slow calm pats are his preference. Fig will require an owner who has experience in reading the fine points of cat body language.
When first brought into the fur-ever home starting them off in a single room is a must. With time and a calm atmosphere and they will gradually come out of their shells. If you are ready to open your heart and home to this lovable duo, please come down next adoption day and ask the staff for an introduction.
