Hello friends, I'm Raven-Scar.

I'm a sweet, snuggly, affectionate bundle of love, all wrapped up in soft fur. I've found the world to be a scary place so far, can you please help me feel safe again? I can be a little wary at first of new surroundings, but with lots of love and patience I know I'll settle into my new home beautifully! While in the shelter I've had some dental work done, which means my tongue likes to poke out of my mouth sometimes - talk about a cuteness overload!

Please take me home today and let the cuddles begin.

Love Raven-Scar xoxo

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
