Apply to adopt

A little bit about me

Application only
  • 2 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 260347
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Well, hello there I am the handsome man, Chase. I am ready to grab my belongings and get into my new life and home now! energetic dogs like me do not do well in shelter environments due to the confinement and sometimes limited exercise and enrichment so I will need a patient person to help me overcome the stress I have faced and help fatten me up some more. I will require daily exercise and will need things to do when you are not home. I would love a home with an open-door policy so I can spend as much time with you as I can and not have to be stuck in a back yard missing out on family time. If I sound like the right kind guy for you then put an application in today and let's get the ball rolling.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
