Hi I'm Mercy!

I'm a big girl with a heart of gold- I'm truly one of a kind. I'm a very active girl who loves her morning jogs and those afternoon adventures. I'll keep your pace but be prepared to go the distance and I'll be smiling all the way!

My favourite toys are my stuffed teddies, big sticks and my sandpit! I love to dig and enjoy the water (the each is a perfect retreat for me!)

I know how to sit and am very clever, tricks and training will go a long way with me! Being a puppy though, I do like to chew, so I will need plenty of enrichment (the staff will be more than happy to discuss that with you further). I will also need lots of exercise, as well as continued positive reinforcement training, so I can grow into the best dog I can be.

I do have a health disclaimer explaining I have urinary incontinence which will require lifelong medication.

I'm an adventure you surely don't want to miss, put me on the team and let me capture your heart

Love,

Mercy xx

See me in action!

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
