I am a medium sized staffy so I won't take up much space so if you've got an empty spot next to you on the couch/bed and in your heart then I may be what you've been looking for. I have a history to say I am not good with cats and have only ever interacted with one dog in my life so I will need a home as the only child due to the lack of positive socialization during my puppy stages. I am super affectionate and love to have a good cuddle and love to give lots of slobbery kisses. I can be very playful and love my walks to explore and take in all the smells so fill your treat pouch, get your sneakers on and let's stroll into each others lives on a positive note. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
