Apply to adopt

A little bit about me

Application only
  • 2 years old
  • Female
  • Animal ID: 261048
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi I'm Honey Bee! I'm a nervous girl who will do well in a quieter home with not too much to concern myself with, it is going to take me some time to relax and trust again. Some loving, patient owners would be perfect, and they will need to be ok with me laying across their lap and giving them kisses. I will get a little overwhelmed in busy environments so I'm not a pup you could take to your local cafe, but I would love to go on walks exploring our neighbourhood and taking my time to sniff all of the flowers we come across. I will need an owner experienced in using positive reinforcement to help me with my confidence and manners, although I'm so cute, if I slip up you should probably just let it slide! If you have what it takes to spoil me rotten, pop in an application!

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
