Hi there, I'm the beautiful Cuchura!
I wasn't very happy being housed in a shelter environment so a nice foster family took me in so I could gain confidence and learn how to be around humans. I am now blossoming in the home environment and ready for my forever home! I am still a little shy, but once I get to know you and feel comfortable, I'm sure we will be a purfect match!
While in foster, I have been socialised and exposed to lots of new things, including other cats! I would be happy to go to a home with another resident feline, as long as they are willing to welcome me in and we are introduced slowly.
I am a very playful girl and would love a home with lots of toys and scratching posts to keep my mind active! If you think you have the love and patience for a shy girl like me, please pop in an application today!

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
