A little bit about me

Application only
  • 4 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 261090
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $300

Hi I'm Jono!! I can be a bit unsure of people and will prefer to avoid you, but if you make an effort with me, I start to relax. I'm learning how to trust again so would like an owner who has a little patience and would be happy to treat me to all the good things in life. I will be best suited as the only dog in the home and no young children please. To help me bond with my new family, I would like to be able to come inside and spend time watching you all go about your day. This will help me get use to the family routine and help me get comfortable with my environment. If I sound like the boy for you, pop in an application today!!

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
