Apply to adoptHey there, I'm Maxie! I'm a sweet cat who's still figuring out how to trust, love, and be a house cat. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but being in foster care has shown me that there's a lot of kindness in the world. My best friend Hershey has been by my side every step of the way, and together we're slowly learning how to feel safe and comfortable in a home.
At first, I was pretty shy and unsure about all the new things around me. But with time and patience, I've started to warm up to the idea that humans aren't so bad after all. They bring tasty treats, cozy beds, and gentle words, and they're helping me understand that love takes time.
Hershey and I spend a lot of time together-he's like my partner in this big adventure of learning how to be a house cat. We play, explore, and find the best spots to relax. Having him with me makes everything a little less scary, and I know we both feel braver when we're together.
I'm still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm getting there, one day at a time. I'm looking for a family who understands that I need patience and a lot of love to keep growing. If you're someone who's ready to help me continue this journey and adopt both me and Hershey, we'd love to meet you!
