Hi, my name is Bennet!

I'm a sweet and loveable boy searching for my forever home. My favorite things are walkies, treats, and cuddles with my humans. I do really love to be around my people, so I would like to be an indoor dog with a bed I can curl up on to snooze the day away.

I'm an older boy but don't let my age fool you! I still have lots of energy for adventures. I also really like to play fetch! Since I can get a little bit excited around my people, I'd be best suited to a home without any young kids. I have lots of love to give, all I need is some loving humans, a full belly and a warm bed.

I can't wait to meet you!

Love, Bennet xx

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
