  • Female
  • Animal ID: 261829
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $50

Well hello there, my name is Amelia!

Everyone here at the shelter says I'm the goodest girl ever! I'll do anything for some pats and a tube of kitty puree. I love hanging out and I'm very relaxed, I would make a great couch companion to laze away the afternoon with. I am still a young cat so will need some toys, scratching post, and someone who will interact with me to keep me feeling loved.

Love, Amelia xxx

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
