I can get spooked pretty easily, so a home willing to work on my confidence and help condition me and ease me into different environments and situations would be great... but you'll need to go at my pace and avoid throwing me in the deep end. I may be a good match for another social pup, but keep in mind I do like to wrestle! I would be ideal to take to training to help me and my new family learn and grow together. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
