I'm finally ready and on the hunt for my forever home. I have had a rocky start to life but luckily I was delivered into the hands of the AWL who gave me the treatments and love that I desperately needed. In the beginning I was very shy but I was shown kindness and patience and I soon realised humans can be my friends. I'm still timid when faced with new things but if you are interested in continuing my confidence building please ask the AWL for an introduction.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
