Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 3 years old
  • Female
  • Animal ID: 261976
  • Desexed
  • Medium size
  • Adoption Fee: $50

Hi there, I'm Posy!

I'm a cheeky girl who loves to play, but I have a hard time adjusting to new environments. I can sometimes forget my manners and get a little swipey, so a home without young children (not essential) may help me settle in easier. The way to my heart is through play, so a home with lots of ping pong balls, straws, and other enrichment will help me grow my confidence much quicker. I can be very curious and affection does entice me, but I'm not confident enough to ask for pats just yet.

If you're a patient family willing to take it slow with me, I could be the girl for you. Come down and meet me today, and let's start this next chapter together.

Love, Posy

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
