Hi there, I'm Pancake, nice to meet you!

I am a sweet and shy lil guy and need a quiet, patient and understanding home. I am still a little unsure of people and so will need some time to settle before I feel safe and comfortable. Once I know you, I will be sure to reward you with my sweet and loving personality. I like to observe my surroundings from a distance and take my time getting used to new people and places, I would love a home with lots of boxes and spots for me to safely hide while I scope the place out. I have been in foster with my siblings and am gaining confidence more and more everyday.

Please come meet me today so I can begin my new chapter! I promise I will make it worth your while!

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
