Meet meHi there, I'm Jem - by name and nature!
I have a lovely little face and am truly a gorgeous little girl. I love to play and run, so would love a home with lots of toys and space to explore! I will sleep just about anywhere, I have a real talent for finding nap-spots you never knew existed. My favourite place to rest is on your legs or lap - even if they are already occupied!
I can be a little shy to start with but please give me a chance and I'll shine.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
