First things first, I must admit that I'm not a fan of cats and would prefer a single-dog household. Other dogs make me a tad uncomfortable, but I promise to shower all my love and attention on you.
I absolutely adore my daily walks - they're the highlight of my day! I might start off a bit nervous in new situations, but don't let that fool you. Once I warm up to you, my sweetness truly shines through. I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement-based training, which helps boost my confidence and brings out the best in me. Patience and understanding are key to winning my heart.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
