Hello there! Are you ready to open your heart and home to a precious little soul in need of love and patience? Allow us to introduce you to Tabitha, a sandy ginger kitten who is searching for a caring and understanding companion to help her blossom into a confident and loving cat.

Tabitha's ideal home would be a peaceful and loving one, free from loud noises and constant commotion. She would thrive in an environment where she can feel safe and secure, preferably with no young children or other pets, at least until she gains confidence. An adopter who can spend quality time with her, offering gentle interactions and plenty of reassurance, would be perfect for her growth.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
