I'm a happy, glass half-full kind of boy ready to find my adventure buddy
My favourite thing to do is big big zoooomies around the yard and I also love snacks!
I'd consider myself the athletic type, so I would love a family who will spend time playing with me so I can burn off all my energy. Once I've had a good run, I'm happy to lounge in my bed with something to keep me entertained (I really like kongs and chew treats!)
Since I do have lots of energy and sometimes get really excited, my new humans should be ready to spend time reminding me of my good boy manners. I'm a very good listener though and sit like a perfect gentleman as long as you have some yummy treats with you!
All in all, I'm hoping for an active family that will have time and patience to help me become the best boy I know I can be, that will spend time teaching me new things, take me out on adventures and treat me with gentle kindness and love. My shelter carers say that I'm already a very good boy, so we're already on our way to the perfect life together!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
