Welcome to the wondeful world of Luna, the beautiful black kitten looking for a forever home. Luna is a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you. Once she comes out of her shell, she will reveal herself to be a magical and enchanting companion.

As Luna grows more comfortable with you, she will reveal her true nature. She may be a little shy, but when she comes out of her shell, she will transform into a confident, affectionate, and loyal companion who will be by your side through thick and thin.

The Adoption Process

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat (who is not adopt by application), you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you must complete the application form first and if your application is successful you will be contacted by an AWL staff member and proceed to the next steps of your adoption journey.

Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
