My name is Tawny, and I'm an 11-month-old female dog looking for a loving forever home! I must say, I'm a super happy lady with a wriggly bum and a tail that never stops wagging. I absolutely adore cuddles and kisses, and I have a knack for jumping onto laps to soak up all the love!
As a young and active girl, I'm in need of a family who can provide me with plenty of enrichment, exercise and training. I'm full of energy and ready to explore the world, so I'm hoping to find a family who can keep up with me. I adore other dogs so much, but don't understand boundaries! For this reason, I think it would be better if I was the only dog in the home. I would still enjoy and benefit from occasionally interacting with some dog friends, as long as they don't mind how full on I am!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
